THE PROBLEM
Independent makers — candle companies, hot sauce brands, ceramicists, cannabis producers, small-batch food and beverage — don't have a tool built for them. Enterprise CRMs are overkill and built for sales teams. Spreadsheets break down at scale. The wholesale grind of pitching hundreds of stores, following up, tracking who's carrying what, and staying on top of reorders has no dedicated infrastructure.
WHAT WE BUILT
Shelv Space is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that gives makers a full store pipeline — prospect to placement. Each organization gets a CRM built around their specific workflow: logging store visits, sending outreach, tracking follow-up dates, and monitoring which accounts are actively carrying product.
The platform includes AI-assisted outreach that writes in the maker's own voice, a store discovery tool, bulk import with deduplication, an ambassador/affiliate CRM layer, and a public maker profile that doubles as a wholesale-facing portfolio.
